The cabling quoting reality

Two warranties. Don't conflate them.

25-year cabling cert ≠ equipment warranty

Manufacturer cabling cert programs give you 25 years on certified installs. Active gear is 1–3 yrs manufacturer. ZeroFi keeps these separate so clients don't think the switch is warrantied for 25 years too.

ISP and config carve-outs

"My internet's slow" → not your cabling. Without explicit ISP and customer-config exclusions, every Wi-Fi complaint is a callback.

Patching and surface restoration

Pull cables through finished spaces, you'll cut and patch. Drywall touch-up + paint is its own line — not part of the cabling scope by default.

Default warranty wording

Cabling workmanship and terminations warranted 25 years per manufacturer's certified-installer program. Active equipment carries manufacturer warranties only (typically 1–3 years). Service interruptions caused by ISP, customer-managed configuration changes, or power loss are not covered.
